Description:
This molding process is similar in concept to green sand molding. The sand
used in this process is a resin-coated sand in which a gas is used as a
catalyst to start a chemical reaction that bonds the sand together producing
a very hard and stable mold. After the metal is poured into the mold, it is
broken up to reveal the casting.
Metals Poured:
Most castable metals.
Size Range:
This process usually produces parts under 30" square.
Tolerances:
+/- .020"/in
Draft Requirements:
1-4 Deg.
Minimum Section:

Normal Lead Time:
Tooling: 8-10 Weeks
