Description:
A machined aluminum die is used to produce a wax or plastic pattern. These patterns are assembled to a sprue to form a "tree" or mold. The mold is coated with a ceramic slurry and the wax is melted out. Molten metal is poured via gravity into the hollow mold. The ceramic shell is broken away to reveal the castings cluster. Individual castings are removed from the process and finished for shipment.
